Observations

It's amazing how much more effort you have to expend to do even simple things without the full use of 1 ankle. I'm talking twice the effort. I've also found that it's easier to go down a set of stairs backwards. That way, I can do them like normal, rather than 1 step, both feet, then repeat. Still, simple movement is harder, and by the end of the day, my right side is sore from compensating, and I'm wiped. Yet, I only sleep 6 hours. Even after I take a Vicodin. Of course, they gave me the candy dose.  Man, I miss work!

That's another thing! Why do I miss work?! Damn it! I want to be a full on slacker, at least, I think I do. Still, I've only been off a week and I'm starting to think about climbing the walls. That's a bad thing because I doubt my landlord would find it as amusing as I would. Then again, my sense of humor is decidedly NOT Politically Correct. I enjoy ethnic jokes as much as any other. Laughing at one's self is always enjoyable. Laughing at our human foolishness is therapeutic. Of course, when it snows, I don't want to work so much. Hmmm...

One wonders why Democrats think minorities are dumb. They must, after all, they don't trust them to figure how to get an ID.

Remember, when making chili, chop any peppers you use, especially Habenero's or super chili's, very fine. If, like me, you use the whole pepper, seeds and all, you don't want a friend who was brave enough to try it bite down on a large chunk. Just saying..

I have to get an eye exam in February. I'm leaning towards rimless. I like the look. Ever notice that the women that work at optometrist offices know what looks good on you and what sucks pond water? Interesting.

Eight O'Clock coffee is pretty darn good. Just a pinch of salt, mind. Smooth!

Almost forgot! Should you ever find you have to have an ankle immobilized by a boot, pray it's in the spring, summer or fall. In the winter, it's like strapping a mini snowboard to 1 foot. Then again, it makes for an interesting walk into the grocery store.

Why don't lefties get it? Contrary to what the current occupant, and Timmy G. think, money doesn't grow on trees. You either cut now, or crash later. There are no two ways about this. Talk about living in fantasy land.

 Utopianists are all the same. Maybe that's why they always end up killing anyone who refuses to drink their kool aid. That really pisses them off.

Let us not forget about the pro kill the babies crowd. They interrupted a pro-life youth rally. They shouted  “pro-life, that’s a lie, you don’t care if women die!” I'm curious why they didn't go with that old time favorite, "Hey hey! Ho ho! We're idiots but you already know!" Maybe they could do the robot repeat that OWS is creepily famous for.
